Playing Hide & Seek

We were asked to dog sit our neighbors dogs, they are like our own. Very cute little lady dogs. One is a yellow lab and the other is a breed I have ever seen. Both are very small in comparison to our dogs. I wanted to take a picture of the yellow lab (Sadie) and Brutus to show his size in comparison to a regular size dog.

Sadie had other ideas and she and Brutus were more about playing than having their picture made. Brutus decided that Hide and Seek would be a good game to play. He however forgets how big he is, hiding behind a bush that you are taller than does not work well.

It was a nice time being outside and seeing the big boy interact with another dog.

OOOPPPS!

I am sure that lots of people have done this but I wish I could say I hadn't! I was up in the attic getting boxes down and felt dizzy like I was falling. I went to brace myself not paying attention to where I was stepping, the next thing I knew I could see my husband standing under me! LOL Well it was not funny then but it sort of is at the moment. So after a handyman it will look new again I hope.

Fun places and things on the way home

A different route back allowed me to see some cute mini donkeys and some other fun shopping places! Great to get home but what a great road trip!

New place to love in Georgetown

If you have never been to "The Gathering" in Georgetown you should give it a look. They have wonderful things in the store. I found several pieces there that are now some of my favorite finds. A Kodak camera made in 1913, only produced in England and in awesome condition. It is a small one and I have never seen it in person before. It was a steal to boot.

Love the way the ladies there arranged the shop, right up my alley.

Pics of the trip

Trip to Round Top ~ Antique Seeking!!

Decided to go and see what Round Top was all about. I have always heard about it but had never made the time to go. Since the blue bonnets were out I thought I would also try to get some pictures of some flowers as well. There were many great items to see and lots of friendly people. They have lots of good shopping in Round Rock which is where I stayed. The weather was beautiful, I really enjoyed my trip. Traveling down back roads there were many houses that were certainly about to fall down but were still beautiful in their own right.
